Vi, formerly Vodafone Idea recently hiked the prices of its Rs 598 and Rs 749 plans to Rs 649 and Rs 799, respectively. Soon after, the telecom operator introduced a new Vodafone Idea RedX family postpaid plan priced at Rs 1,348. The new plan comes with benefits like annual OTT subscriptions, unlimited data, calls and SMS.

Since it’s a family postpaid plan, users opting for this plan will have an option to add up to four add-ons. However, there are no free add-ons and telco will charge Rs 249 per month for each add-on connection. The new plan has already been listed on the official Vi website. Vi Rs 1,348 RedX family postpaid plan launched in India
The Vi Rs 1,348 RedX family postpaid plan is now the most expensive plan from the telecom operator. According to the official website, the plan offers unlimited data benefits, unlimited voice calls to any network, and 100 SMSes to the primary user. For any add-on connection, the benefits will include 30GB data with rollover up to 50GB, unlimited callings and 100 SMSes per month.
However, the new plan comes with a catch as mentioned before. The add-on connections for this plan will be charged at Rs 249 per month unlike other family plans, which offer up to five free connections. However, with the new plan, user can add up to four connections and the above-mentioned benefits will be the same for all four.
Additionally, the plan offers OTT benefits like Netflix annual subscription for TV and mobile worth Rs 5,988, annual Amazon Prime membership worth Rs 999, and annual ZEE5 Premium membership worth Rs 999. Moreover, the plan also provides free access to airport lounges four times a year including one international. All these benefits are reserved only for the primary connection.
