Vi launches Rs 148 prepaid plan in Delhi with 1GB daily data and unlimited voice calls

Vi (formerly Vodafone Idea) had launched an affordable Rs 148 prepaid pack recently. However, the Vi prepaid pack was limited only to the Gujarat circle. Now, the telecom operator has silently made the plan available in the Delhi circle as well. The prepaid plan is now listed on the official website of the telco in Delhi circle.

As of now, the prepaid plan is only available in these two circles with no indication from the operator about rolling it out in other parts of the country. The Rs 148 Vi prepaid pack comes with benefits like daily data, unlimited voice calling, and free SMSes among others. Let’s take a look at all benefits offered by the pack.

The Vi Rs 148 prepaid plan comes with a validity of 18 days. Users will get 1GB of data per day for the duration of the validity, resulting in 18GB data in total. The official website doesn’t mention the post FUP speeds, but we can expect restricted data speeds after 1GB data is over.

Additionally, the plan offers truly unlimited local and national calls to all networks in the country. Moreover, the pack provides 100 free SMS per day for the validity of the plan. As for non-telecom benefits, the Rs 148 Vi prepaid plan offers free access to Vi Movies and TV content.

Notably, Vi also has a Rs 149 prepaid pack, which comes with limited data but more validity. The pack offers 2GB of data in total with no daily cap. Currently, Vi is running an App/Web exclusive offer, providing extra 1GB data with the pack. Additionally, the Rs 149 pack offers a total of 300 local and national SMSes and truly unlimited national as well as local calls to any network. Users get Vi Movies and TV access with this plan as well. This plan comes with a validity of 28 days.
