Vi or Vodafone Idea has re-launched its Rs 65 prepaid recharge pack in India. The plan has been listed on the official website of the telecom operator under the ‘Combo’ plans section. The newly-launched plan offers talk time and data benefits with a validity of 28 days. The new Vi combo plan is currently being offered in a few telecom circles only at the moment.
Notably, Vi offered the same Rs 65 prepaid plan last year but with a different set of benefits. The plan was then discontinued in December 2019 after the tariff hike in the country. Let’s take a look at benefits offered by the re-introduced Vi combo plan of Rs 65.
Rs 65 Vi combo plan benefits: talktime and data
The Rs 65 combo plan from Vi comes with a validity of 28 days. Users get a limited validity talk time of Rs 52 and 100MB of 2G/3G/4G data as part of the plan. Vi will charge all calls on this plan at one paise per second. This is an ideal prepaid plan for those who are primarily looking for a talk time plan with almost full talk time provided.
As of now, Vi has not rolled out the new plan in all telecom circles in the country. At the moment the Rs 65 Vi combo plan is only available in Andhra Pradesh & Telangana, Maharashtra & Goa and Mumbai, among others. It’s expected that the telco will soon rollout the pack across the country if it receives a good response in these circles.
With the new addition, Vi now offers six combo plans in denominations of Rs 39, Rs 49, Rs 65, Rs 79, and Rs 95. The Rs 39 and Rs 49 prepaid plans offer a validity of 14 and 28 days, respectively. The former offers Rs 30 talk time and 100MB data, whereas, the latter offers Rs 38 talk time and 300MB data.
The Rs 79 plan offers Rs 64 talk time and 400MB data for 28 days and lastly, the Rs 95 plan provides Rs 74 talk time with 200MB data for 56 days. Vi is currently running an offer where customers recharging with Rs 49 and Rs 79 plan on app or website will get additional 200MB data.
