Eligible users can continue enjoying the weekend data rollover benefit till April 17th, 2021 now. Notably, only those users who are on an unlimited prepaid plan worth Rs 249 and above are eligible for weekend data rollover. Let’s take a look at all details of the Vi Weekend Data Rollover benefit.

Vi Weekend Data Rollover benefit extended by 90 days

As mentioned before, the Vi Weekend Data Rollover benefit was a limited time offer valid till January 17th, 2021. Soon after the end date passed, Vi announced that the benefit is being extended for another three months and will now be valid till April 17th, 2021.

Vi users who recharge their numbers with an unlimited prepaid plan above Rs 249 will get their unused daily data carried forward automatically to the weekend data limit. It can be checked in the ‘Active Packs and Services’ section of the Vi app or by diallig ‘*199#’.

Additionally, the offer is also valid on plans with double data benefit and will apply to the full double data quota. In case you are on such a plan and usually end up with lots of daily data being unused, the telco will accumulate all unused data from Monday to Friday and add it to the daily data cap on Saturday and Sunday.

The accumulated data from the weekend will be available over and above the daily data limit on the weekend. The daily data limit for Saturday and Sunday will kick in once the user has exhausted the accumulated data and in case the user is unable to do so, the accumulated data will expire. Lastly, the accumulated data will expire in case your base plan expires and you don’t recharge before expiry.
