Smartphone maker Vivo today announced the launch of its new brand logo in the Chinese market. The new logo includes the exclusive Vivo blue color as well as new English and Chinese fonts. Vivo believes the new logo will help redefine its brand identity.
While Vivo announced the launch of its new logo only for the Chinese market today, the company has confirmed that it will start using it in other markets as well before the end of the first quarter. The new logo is undoubtedly more visually appealing than the company’s previous logo and should allow it to better emphasize itself as an ‘extraordinary’ brand that focuses on style and cutting-edge technology. Last year, Vivo managed to grab the attention of consumers across the globe with its innovative Apex concept smartphone. It later released the NEX flagship smartphone with a unique pop-up selfie camera and a unique design. Vivo also launched a few impressive mid-range smartphones such as the V11 Pro and the X23. More recently, the company introduced the NEX Dual Display flagship Android smartphone with twin Super AMOLED displays and triple rear cameras.
Vivo is currently gearing up to unveil a new “waterdrop” phone in China on January 24. Rumors claim the smartphone will have a completely new design that no other manufacturer has introduced yet. The concept smartphone is expected to have a true full-screen display and may not have any physical buttons on the sides either. Sadly, however, no details regarding the smartphone’s internals have surfaced on the web yet. That said, we certainly expect to find out more about the device in the coming days. Just like the Apex concept smartphone last year, the “waterdrop” phone is expected to be a flagship offering. It will likely be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 855 octa-core mobile processor with an Adreno 640 GPU.
