Vivo recently announced that the next smartphone in its NEX series will be launched in China on March 10th. The smartphone is dubbed the NEX 3S 5G and is expected to come loaded with flagship-grade features. Earlier leaks have confirmed that the NEX 3S 5G will be a Snapdragon 865-powered smartphone, and will ship with a waterfall display and 55W fast charging. Now, Pricebaba has spotted the handset on the Google Play Console, and the listing confirms a few key details including RAM, processor, display resolution and Android version. We also get a glimpse of the upcoming smartphone in the render accompanying the listing.
According to the Play Console listing, the Vivo NEX 3S 5G will be powered by the Snapdragon 865 SoC backed by Adreno 650 GPU, which was known already. The variant spotted on the Google Play Console shows 8GB of RAM accompanying the processor, however, we can expect more variants at launch. According to the listing, the screen will have FHD+ resolution, which is also in line with previous rumours. We also get to know that the smartphone will boot the latest Android 10 out of the box with Funtouch OS on top. As for the render, we can see the practically bezel-less display with curved edges and no notches.
Vivo NEX 3S 5G specifications and features
Previous leaks have revealed that the NEX 3S 5G will ship with a 6.89-inch AMOLED display. As for the storage, the phone is likely to be offered in 128GB and 256GB variants. In the camera department, the phone is rumoured to feature a circular camera module comprising of a 64-megapixel primary camera accompanied by a couple of 13-megapixel lenses. For selfies, the phone will feature an elevating camera with a 16-megapixel lens. Other features include in-display fingerprint scanner and 4,350mAh battery.
