Vivo Pad, Vivo Watch, and the Vivo X80 series are expected to launch in the next few months in India. Pricebaba has teamed up with reliable tipster Yogesh Brar to reveal the launch timeline of these Vivo devices in India. The Vivo Pad will debut as the company’s first tablet in the country. It is unclear whether the Vivo Watch heading to India could be the same Vivo Watch 2 model that was announced in December 2021 in China.

The Vivo X70 series for India included two models, such as the Vivo X70 Pro and the Vivo X70 Pro+ (review). Hence, it is likely that these models could be succeeded by the Vivo X80 and X80 Pro+.

According to Brar, Vivo is currently testing the Vivo Pad and Vivo Watch in India. These devices may launch by the end of Q2 or early Q3 of 2022 in the country. The Vivo X80 series is also expected to debut during this period.

He adds that the launch will take place after the IPL (Indian Premier League) 2022 season. For those who are unaware, the IPL 2022 final is scheduled to take place on May 29th, 2022. The tipster did not share any information on the specs of the upcoming Vivo devices for India. However, recent reports have revealed key specifications of the Vivo Pad and X80 series.

The Vivo Pad will debut first in China on April 11th, 2022. Recent reports have revealed that Vivo’s first tablet will feature an 11-inch LCD 2.5K display with Dolby Vision support and a 120Hz refresh rate, Android 11 OS with OriginOS UI, a Snapdragon 870 chipset, 8GB of RAM, up to 256GB of internal storage, and an 8,040mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. For photography, it will feature an 8-megapixel front camera and a 13-megapixel + 8-megapixel dual-camera system.

Vivo Watch 2 carries support for e-SIM connectivity

Last year, Vivo launched two smartwatches in China. The Vivo Watch has a 1.39-inch AMOLED display and a 478mAh battery, whereas the Vivo Watch 2 has a 1.43-inch AMOLED panel, a 510mAh battery, and e-SIM support. Both smartwatches offer common features like 2GB of RAM, 10W of charging support, 5ATM water resistance, and necessary health sensors like a heart rate tracker and a SpO2 tracker.

Tipster Shadow Leak recently revealed the specifications of the Vivo X80 Pro and X80 Pro+. The vanilla model will feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz display, a Dimensity 9000 chip, a 32-megapixel front camera, and a 50-megapixel (Sony IMX789 with OIS) + 12-megapixel (ultrawide) + 12-megapixel (telephoto) + 12-megapixel (telephoto periscope) quad-camera unit.

On the other hand, the Vivo X80 Pro+ will come with a 6.78-inch AMOLED LTPO 2.0 QHD+ 120Hz screen, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, a 44-megapixel front camera, a 50-megapixel (Samsung GN1 with OIS) + 48-megapixel (ultrawide) + 12-megapixel (telephoto) + 12-megapixel (telephoto periscope) quad-camera setup. The X80 Pro and X80 Pro+ are expected to come with common features such as up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage, and a 4,700mAh battery with 80W fast charging.
