Vivo has announced the availability of Vivo S1’s 6GB RAM variant in India. The device was introduced back in August and its 4GB RAM variant went on sale in the same month. The 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant of the device will sell from September 9th, while the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant will be available from September 15th.
Vivo S1: specifications and features
The Vivo S1 sports a 6.38-inch Super AMOLED display with full HD+ resolution of 1,080 x 2,340 pixels. The display bears a waterdrop notch on top and an in-screen fingerprint sensor. For performance, the Vivo S1 depends on the MediaTek Helio P65 octa-core processor with a Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU. As mentioned above, the phone comes in three variants – 4GB RAM + 128GB storage, 6GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. The internal storage can be expanded by up to 256GB via a microSD card.
In terms of optics, the device features a triple rear camera setup with a 16MP Sony IMX499 primary sensor, 8MP ultra-wide sensor and 2MP depth sensor. For selfie enthusiasts, the phone houses a 32MP snapper. The Vivo S1 runs Android 9 Pie with FunTouch OS 9 on top. It comes with a 4,500mAh battery with support for fast charging.
Vivo S1 6GB RAM variant: price and availability
The variant will be available in two colour options – Diamond Black and Skyline Blue. The 6GB RAM + 64GB storage model will cost Rs 18,990 while the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage will be priced at Rs 19,990. They will go on sale from September 9th and September 15th, respectively. Consumers can buy the phone from Amazon, Flipkart, Vivo’s online store and various offline outlets like Reliance Digital, Poorvika, Big C and Croma.
