Vivo S1 with 32MP Selfie Camera Launching In India On August 7th

Recent reports have been claiming that Vivo will be soon debuting the Vivo S1 as its first S-series smartphone in India. The Chinese firm has now officially confirmed through a teaser that it will be holding a launch event on August 7th to launch a new S-series smartphone in the country. A new video teaser made available through Vivo India’s YouTube channel confirms that the first Vivo S-series phone for India will be called Vivo S1.

The launch date teaser reveals that the Vivo S1 will be sporting a stylish design. The below video commercial that features Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan confirms that it will be sporting a 32-megapixel selfie camera and triple rear cameras. The smartphone will be equipped with a waterdrop-style notch display. It will be arriving gradient colour versions like light blue and dark blue. The latter features an attractive diamond-cut pattern.

Vivo S1 Price in India (Rumored)

Since the Vivo S1 was recently made official in Indonesia, its entire specifications have been revealed. Rumours surrounding the Indian launch of Vivo S1 have claimed that its pre-orders will begin early next month, and it will go on sale on August 15th.  It is speculated to release in two variants such as 6GB RAM + 64GB storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage. The former is expected to be priced at Rs 17,990. The pricing of the higher model is not known yet.

Vivo S1 Specifications

The Vivo S1 features a 6.38-inch Super AMOLED display with full HD+ resolution of 1,080 x 2,340 pixels. It is equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor. It is the first smartphone to feature the MediaTek Helio P65 chipset.

The rear-mounted triple camera setup of the phone features a 16-megapixel primary lens, an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The handset houses a big battery of 4,500mAh capacity with support for 18W dual-engine fast charging. The handset boots FunTouch OS based on Android 9 Pie OS.
