Vivo S1 price in India dropped by Rs 1,000, now available starting at Rs 16,990

Vivo has quietly dropped the price of the Vivo S1 smartphone in India. The phone was originally launched at a starting price of Rs 17,990 for the base variant with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage, but it is now retailing for Rs 16,990. The phone’s 6GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB models are now being offered for Rs 17,990 and Rs 18,990 respectively. All models of the Vivo S1 have received a price drop of Rs 1,000. The handset is available at the reduced pricing from both the online and offline stores across the country. The device is being offered in two colour variants – Skyline Blue and Diamond Black.

Vivo S1 is a mid-range offering with a triple primary camera setup at the rear and an under-display fingerprint sensor. The phone has narrow bezels and gets a waterdrop notch above the screen. The device’s Diamond Black model has a diamond pattern at the rear to provide a premium appeal. The smartphone comes with a 6.38-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,340 pixels. In the software department, you get Funtouch OS 9 that’s based on Android 9.0 Pie.

Under the hood, the Vivo S1 has a MediaTek Helio P65 processor, which is aided by up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. For imaging, the phone has a triple camera setup at the back that’s comprising of a 16MP main sensor, an 8MP secondary snapper, and a 2MP third camera. The smartphone also has camera features like phase detection autofocus, HDR, Live Photos, portrait mode, AR stickers, and more. For selfies, the smartphone is equipped with a 32MP front camera.

The connectivity features of the Vivo S1 include 4G LTE, dual-SIM slots, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, USB 2.0, and GPS with GLONASS. A 4,500mAh battery with Dual Engine 18W fast charging support completes the list of the specifications.
