Vivo S1 Prime with Snapdragon 665 and 4,500mAh battery launched; price, specifications

Vivo is known for launching the same phone with different names in different markets. The company had launched the Vivo S1 Pro smartphone in India in January this year. The same phone went official in Russia as Vivo V17. It has now landed in Myanmar as the Vivo S1 Prime.

The phone sports a gradient coloured rear panel and a diamond-patterned camera setup. The phone features a tall aspect ratio display and comes with a large-sized battery.

The Vivo S1 Prime is a rebranded Vivo S1 Pro

The Vivo S1 Prime measures 159.25 x 75.19 x 8.68mm and weighs 190.2 grams. The phone houses a 6.38-inch AMOLED display that produces full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The screen is integrated with a fingerprint reader.

The official website has not mentioned the configuration of the front camera of the Vivo S1 Prime. In India, the Vivo S1 Pro comes with a 32-megapixel front camera. The diamond-shaped camera module on the rear side of the Vivo S1 Prime has a 48-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 2-megapixel macro shooter, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor, claims the publication.

The Snapdragon 665 mobile platform powers the device with 8GB of RAM. The phone comes with 128GB of native storage and a microSD card slot for additional storage. FunTouch OS 9.2 based on Android 10 comes pre-loaded on the smartphone.

The Vivo S1 Prime has a 4,500mAh battery that supports 18W dual-engine fast charging. The connectivity features available on the phone include dual SIM slots, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, USB-C, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The Vivo S1 Prime has arrived in Myanmar with a price tag of MMK 389,800 (~Rs 21,300). It comes in two colours such as Nebula Blue and Jade Black.
