Vivo S1 Pro with 32MP Pop-Up Selfie Camera and Snapdragon 675 Launched in China

The Vivo S1 Pro is the latest S-series smartphone from the company to go official in China. It has arrived as an advanced version of the Vivo S1 handset that was unveiled in March. The major highlights of the smartphone are a 32-megapixel front-facing camera, Snapdragon 675, bezel-less screen and triple rear cameras.

The Vivo S1 Pro comes with a 6.39-inch Super AMOLED display that offers an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and full HD+ resolution of 1,080 x 2,340 pixels. The screen is embedded with an in-display fingerprint scanner. Vivo claims that the handset offers an impressive screen-to-body ratio of 91.64 percent.

The Snapdragon 675 AIE SoC powers the smartphone with up to 8GB of RAM. It comes with a maximum internal storage of 256GB. For additional storage, there is a microSD card slot on the device. FunTouch OS 9 based on Android 9 Pie comes preinstalled on the device. It features a dedicated hardware key to summon the Jovi AI assistant. The Multi-Turbo acceleration engine promises smoother performance while gaming on the Vivo S1 Pro.

The Vivo S1 Pro features a vertical triple camera unit on its rear. It is equipped with an f/1.78 aperture 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and a 5-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The pop-up selfie camera module of the Vivo S1 Pro includes an f/2.0 aperture 32-megapixel lens. Some of the photography features available on the Vivo S1 Pro include dual-LED flash, AI scene recognition, body shaping and more.

The Vivo S1 Pro is packed with a 3,700mAh battery. The smartphone is equipped with audio features like super bass, panoramic surround sound, clear vocals and an equaliser. The connectivity features available on the smartphone include 4G VoLTE, dual-SIM support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, GPS, microUSB 2.0 and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Vivo S1 Pro Price and Availability

The Vivo S1 Pro will go on sale in China on May 9th. It will be available in two colour choices of Love Blue and Coral Red. It can be bought in two variants – 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 6GB RAM + 256GB storage. Both variants are priced the same, at 2,698 Yuan (~Rs 27,785).
