Vivo S1 Pro price leaked ahead of launch, to cost Rs 19,990 for the 8GB RAM variant

The Vivo S1 Pro is scheduled to launch in mid-January in the Indian market. The device was launched in China earlier and is an upgraded version of the Vivo S1 smartphone. Now, the phone’s price has been revealed through an exclusive leak by 91mobiles. As has been speculated earlier, the leak shows that the phone would be a mid-range offering. Furthermore, the Vivo S1 Pro is expected to launch with an in-display fingerprint sensor, a quad-camera setup and a waterdrop notch.

The Vivo S1 Pro is expected to cost Rs 19,999 in India

The Vivo S1 Pro is expected to launch with a gradient finish on its back panel which would also house a diamond-shaped camera setup. The phone will play host to a 6.38-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,340 pixels and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The display is further laced with an in-display fingerprint sensor for security, Always-on feature and a waterdrop notch.

The device is likely to run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 octa-core processor with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal memory. The S1 Pro is also expected to launch in a 6GB RAM variant in India. Unlike the Chinese version of the phone that carries a pop-up selfie camera and a triple rear camera setup, the Indian version is expected to house a quad-camera setup and a selfie camera placed inside the notch. The rear configuration includes a 48MP Samsung ISOCELL GM1 primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP 120-degree ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP super macro lens with 4cm focal range, and a 2MP depth sensor. In the front, consumers can expect a 32MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture.

In addition to all this, the Vivo S1 Pro could house a 4,500mAh battery unit with support for Vivo 18W dual-engine Fast Charging technology. It would run Android FunTouch OS 0.2 based on Android 9 Pie.

The 8GB RAM + 128GB internal memory variant of the phone has been revealed to cost Rs 19,990. However, there is no information on the other variant’s price yet. Consumers can expect the phones in two shades – Fancy Sky and Knight Black.
