Vivo S1 and Vivo V15 Pro get a price cut in India

In case you want to purchase the Vivo S1 or the Vivo V15 Pro smartphones in India, now is probably the best time to do so as Vivo has recently introduced a price cut/discount in the country. Starting off with the Vivo S1, the device has received a discount of nearly Rs 4,000. The 4GB + 128GB storage variant of the device is now available for Rs 15,990 while the 6GB + 128GB model is still listed for Rs 17,990. The Vivo V15 Pro, on the other hand, will now sell for Rs 19,990 for the 6GB + 128GB variant. This is a straight-up 39 percent discount on the original price.

Vivo V15 Pro specifications and features

Starting off with the display of the device, the Vivo V15 Pro sports a 6.39-inch Full HD+ display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the Vivo V15 Pro is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor which is coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. If that much storage does not suffice for your needs, you can bump it up with the help of an external microSD card.

For biometrics, the Vivo V15 Pro utilises an under-display fingerprint scanner. Moving on to the cameras of the device, the Vivo V15 Pro features a triple camera setup at the back (48MP + 8MP + 5MP). The front camera is a 32MP unit that is hidden and pops-up if and when required.

A 3,700mAh battery keeps the lights of the Vivo V15 Pro on. The battery has support for 18W of fast charging. Unfortunately, the charging port is still the dated microUSB 2.0. Fortunately though, we still get a 3.5mm headphone jack with the device. As far as the OS is concerned, it runs Android 9 Pie out of the box with FunTouchOS baked on top.

Vivo S1 specifications and features

Coming to the Vivo S1, it features a triple rear camera setup (16MP + 8MP + 2MP) and a 32MP selfie shooter. Powering the Vivo S1 is a MediaTek Helio P65 processor which is paired with 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage. The device is equipped with a 4,500mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.

Just like the Vivo V15 Pro, the Vivo S1 runs Android 9 Pie with the company’s FunTouchOS built on top of it. As far as the display of the device is concerned, we get a 6.38-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,340 pixels with the device. The device is available in two colour variants – Skyline Blue and Diamond Black. For connectivity, the Vivo S1 features 4G LTE, dual-SIM slots, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, USB 2.0, and GPS with GLONASS.
