Vivo S5 listed on TENAA, complete specifications leaked

The Vivo S5 is an upcoming S-series phone from Vivo for China. The company has been teasing its arrival for the last couple of weeks. Now, a Vivo smartphone with the model number V1932A/T has appeared on Chinese certification site TENAA revealing its full specifications. The device appears to be the upcoming Vivo S5.

While Vivo hasn’t shared any information on Vivo S5’s specifications, it was spotted on a promo video last month, which revealed that it will feature a unique diamond-shaped quad camera system on the back. The smartphone is now available for pre-order in China. The image on the page has revealed that it is equipped with a punch-hole display.

The TENAA listing of the Vivo V1932A/T reveals that it is fitted with a 6.44-inch AMOLED display that offers full HD+ resolution. The screen features an aspect ratio of 20:9 and is integrated with under-display fingerprint sensor.

An octa-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz powers the device. It is speculated that the phone could be driven by the Snapdragon 712 mobile platform. The device includes 8GB of RAM and comes in 128GB and 256GB storage models. However, there is no support for a microSD card.

The purported Vivo S5 smartphone boots to Android 9 Pie. It is likely to feature the latest FunTouch OS 9.1. The Vivo V1932A and V1932T TENAA listings reveal that it will feature a total of five camera. However, there seems to be some error in the camera details mentioned in the listings of both models. The Vivo V1932A has a 48-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel + 5-megapixel + 2-megapixel camera setup, whereas the Vivo V1932T is seen with 48-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 5-megapixel triple camera system. For shooting selfies, it has a 32-megapixel selfie snapper.

The Vivo V193A/T is fueled by a 4,010mAh battery. The smartphone has also been approved by China’s Compulsory Certificate (3C). The screenshot of the 3C listing shows that it could be made available with a 22.5W fast charger.

The Vivo S5 is poised to go official in November 14th. The Chinese firm is now offering the Vivo S5 Cai Xukun Custom Gift Box Edition for pre-order. The listing page has no details on specs or pricing, but reveals that it will go on sale on November 22nd.
