Vivo T1x launch date in India announced, Snapdragon 680 SoC confirmed

Vivo T1x launch date in India has been announced. It is set to debut in the country on July 20th, Wednesday at 12 noon. Vivo already offers the T1x in 4G and 5G versions in the Malaysian and Chinese markets respectively.

In India, Vivo is confirmed to launch the T1x 4G variant. Flipkart has put up a microsite of the upcoming offering confirming its processor and availability on the shopping platform. 

Vivo T1x India launch set for next week

As per the Flipkart microsite, the Vivo T1x will come in Black and Blue colour options. The device has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button. There is a waterdrop notch on the front and a rectangular camera module on the back panel. The latter houses dual camera sensors and an LED flash. The Vivo T1x is confirmed to be powered by a Snapdragon 680 octa-core processor under the hood. The chipset is based on a 6nm architecture clocked at up to 2.4GHz. 

Apart from this, there is no additional information of the Vivo T1x. The upcoming smartphone will be available from Flipkart, Vivo.com, and retail stores across the country. 

The Vivo T1x debuted in the Malaysian market earlier this year.  Since the Indian variant is the same, we can expect the device to feature a 6.58-inch LCD display bearing an FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone comes with a triple rear camera setup of 50MP and two 2MP sensors. There is an 8MP front-facing selfie snapper. Internally, the Vivo T1x packs 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. The device ships with Funtouch OS 12 based on Android 12 OS out of the box.
