Vivo T2x 5G has been launched in China. It is the company’s first smartphone to feature the Dimensity 1300 chipset. The T2x has arrived as successor to the Vivo T1x, which was announced in October 2021. As compared to the Vivo T1x, the T2x offers improvements in departments like refresh rate, chipset, and battery life.
The T2x features a high refresh rate display, the latest Dimensity chipset, 50-megapixel triple cameras, and a huge battery. Here is all the information on the specifications, features, and price of the T2x.
Vivo T2x 5G specifications and features
The Vivo T2x 5G has a 6.58-inch IPS LCD panel with a teardrop notch design. It offers a Full HD+ resolution of 2,408 x 1,080 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio, 401ppi pixel density, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The device runs on the Android 12 OS, which is overlaid with OriginOS 2.0. For security, the device offers features such as a side-facing fingerprint scanner and face unlock.
The Dimensity 1300 chipset powered Vivo T2x comes with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB / 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The device lacks support for a microSD card slot. It packs a 6,000mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging. For heat dissipation, it features a vapour chamber liquid cooling system.
The T2x has a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. The phone’s rear camera setup features a 50-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a dual-LED flash. The T2x offers other common features such as dual nano-SIM slots, 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Vivo T2x 5G price and availability
The Vivo T2x 5G has arrived in two configurations in China. The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model costs RMB 1,599 (~Rs 18,550), while the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model costs RMB 1,799 (~Rs 20,850). It comes in Mirror Black and Fog Blue colours. The handset is now available for pre-orders in China, but its availability is yet to be confirmed. Also, there is no word on whether Vivo will be launching the T2x in India.
