A couple of days ago, Amazon India started teasing the launch of a new Vivo phone called the Vivo U20. The phone will be launching in the country via the e-commerce portal on November 22nd. Ahead of the launch, the e-tailer recently revealed that the Vivo U20 will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor and will have 6GB of RAM. Now, the brand has announced one more key feature of the handset. Listing of the phone on Amazon’s website has revealed that the Vivo U20 will be fuelled by a beefy 5,000mAh battery, which will support a massive 18W fast charging support.
Vivo U20 specifications and features
Amazon had already revealed the design of the Vivo U20 via a few press images. The phone will come with a waterdrop notch above the screen. There will be slim bezels on top and sides, and a slim chin. At the rear, the smartphone will have a triple primary camera setup at the rear with an LED flash unit, which will be placed on the top-left corner on the back. There’s also a fingerprint sensor and a gradient finish at the rear.
Amazon hasn’t yet revealed any other specifications of the Vivo U20. However, the Vivo U3 that was launched in China last month is expected to land in the country as the Vivo U20. The Vivo U3 has a 6.53-inch full HD+ display, and boots the Android 9 Pie-based Funtouch OS. The handset is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor. The phone comes in two RAM and storage configurations – 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 64GB.
At the rear, the Vivo U3 has a triple camera setup at the rear. There’s a 16MP main sensor onboard, which is accompanied by an 8MP ultra wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro shooter. For selfies and video-calling, the handset has a 16MP shooter on the front inside the waterdrop notch. The connectivity features are standard including 4G LTE, dual-SIM slots, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and A-GPS with GLONASS. A 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support keeps the handset running.
