Vivo U20 with Snapdragon 675 and triple cameras to launch in India on November 22nd

In September, Vivo had launched the Vivo U10 smartphone in India. The same phone is selling as the Vivo U3x in China. A landing page for the upcoming Vivo U20 has surfaced on Amazon India. It reveals that the Snapdragon 675 powered Vivo U20 will be made official on November 22nd in India.

The landing page of the Vivo U20 reveals that the phone features a waterdrop-style notch display. Its rear shell is equipped with a vertical triple camera system and a fingerprint scanner. The landing page has revealed that it is powered by Snapdragon 675 AIE processor along with up to 6GB of RAM. The phone is equipped with UFS 2.1 storage. The other details of the phone are currently under wraps. Like the Vivo U10, the smartphone is expected to feature a large-sized battery.

VIvo U20 Amazon India listing

After the Vivo V17 Pro and Vivo V15 Pro, the Vivo U20 will be third smartphone from the brand to feature the Snapdragon 675 chipset. Unlike the V-series phones however, the Vivo U20 is expected to arrive in India with a budget-friendly price tag.

Vivo U3 specifications and features

The appearance and the key specs of the forthcoming Vivo U20 resembles with the Vivo U3 smartphone that had gone official in China last month. The Vivo U3 that has a model number of V1941A/T features a 6.53-inch IPS LCD display panel with waterdrop notch. It supports full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The Snapdragon 675 mobile platform fuels the phone. The Vivo U3 comes with up to 6 GB of RAM and up to 64 GB of storage.

The rear shell of the Vivo U3 has a 16-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple camera system. It has a front shooter of 16-megapixels. The smartphone houses a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W dual-engine rapid charging. FunTouch OS 9.2 based on Android 9 Pie runs on the device. Apart from a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, it also features a facial recognition security feature. The Vivo U3 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM + 64B storage models are priced at RMB 999 (~Rs 10,200) and RMB 1,199 (~Rs 12,200) respectively. Black, Blue and Green are the three colour editions of the smartphone.

The Vivo U10 variants are priced between Rs 8,999 and Rs 9,990 in India. The upcoming Vivo U20 may cost around Rs 12,000.
