Vivo V17 in India will reportedly feature punch-hole display instead of waterdrop notch

Multiple recent reports have indicated that Vivo is planning to launch a new V series smartphone in India called the Vivo V17 in the near future. The phone was recently unveiled in the Russian market as a rebranded version of the Vivo S1 Pro, which was released in the Philippines earlier this month. The phone arrived as a budget offering with a quad-camera setup at the rear and a waterdrop notch above the screen. However, in India, the company will be releasing the phone with a punch-hole design instead, suggests a report by 91mobiles. This will certainly give the handset a more premium appeal. As of now, there’s no word if the Indian Vivo V17 will have other differences in design from its global counterpart.
