Vivo had launched the V17 Neo smartphone in Russia in August. Now, Russian technology publication Hi Tech Mail has shared real images of the upcoming Vivo V17. It claims that the phone will be positioned between Vivo V17 Pro and Vivo V17 Neo. The report further states that the Vivo V17 will be launching in Russia by the end of November. However, there are no details available on its pricing yet. As far as India is concerned, a recent report had revealed that Vivo may announce the Vivo V17 in the last week of November, priced around Rs 25,000. Vivo may slowly phase out the Vivo V17 Pro after the arrival of the V17 due to poor sales.

The Vivo V17 images reveal that it is equipped with a gradient glass back that showcases different colors when viewed from varying angles. The handset does not feature a rear-facing fingerprint scanner, and instead opts for an in-display sensor. The distinctive diamond-patterned camera housing of the Vivo V17 is quite similar to the upcoming Vivo S5 that will go official on November 14th in China. The arrangement of quad camera lenses and LED flash on the Vivo V17 however is slightly different from that of the Vivo S5. It is speculated that the Vivo V17 has a primary 48-megapixel camera.
The images indicate an AMOLED display with a waterdrop notch
The Vivo V17 seems to feature an AMOLED display with a waterdrop notch. The volume controls and a power button can be seen on the right spine. The bottom edge of the device is flanked by a microphone, USB Type-C port and a speaker grille. The publication has stated that the device could feature 8GB of RAM, 128GB of native storage and a 4,500mAh battery. There is no information on the processor and other specs of the Vivo V17.

The Vivo V17 Pro (first impressions) has a 6.59-inch S-AMOLED full HD+ display. It is equipped with an in-display fingerprint reader. The Snapdragon 675 SoC powers the phone with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It is backed by a 4,100mAh battery with 18W fast charging.The V17 Pro has a 32-megapixel + 8-megapixel dual pop-up selfie camera system. The rear of the device has a 48-megapixel + 13-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel quad camera system.
