While Vivo fans in India are eagerly waiting for the arrival of the Vivo V19, a smartphone with the same name has gone official in the Indonesian market. The Vivo V19 introduced in Indonesia is a rebadged Vivo V17 that was originally announced in December last year. Indonesia’s Vivo V19 impresses with its punch-hole display that offers a very high screen-to-body ratio. The Vivo V19 bears a 32-megapixel front camera and 48-megapixel quad cameras that have been optimised to capture shots in poor light conditions. The phone ships with a large-sized battery that is coupled with fast charging capabilities.

Vivo V19 debuts in Indonesia with 32MP selfie camera and 48MP quad cameras
The Vivo V19 comes with a glass body that measures 159.01 x 74.14 x 8.54mm and weighs 176 grams. The phone is fitted with 6.44-inch punch-hole display which is dubbed by the company as Ultra O screen. The Super AMOLED display produces 1,080 x 2,400 pixels (full HD+) resolution and offers an aspect ratio of 20:9. The display is embedded with a fingerprint reader. The Chinese firm claims that the V19 delivers a screen-to-body ratio of 91.38 percent.
The Vivo V19 has an f/2.45 aperture 32-megapixel front camera. The back panel of the device has an f/1.8 aperture 48-megapixel main sensor, an f/2.2 aperture 8-megapixel superwide lens with 120-degree field-of-view, an f/2.4 aperture 2-megapixel super macro lens with 4cm focal length and an f/2.4 aperture 2-megapixel bokeh sensor. The four lenses along with the LED flash are placed inside a rectangular camera module on the upper-left corner of the phone. The cameras of the Vivo V19 are equipped with features like Super Night Mode, portrait bokeh, AI makeup and AI HDR. The rear-mounted cameras of the V19 offer other features like AI scene recognition, super macro, slow-motion video shooting and more.
The FunTouch OS 10 custom UI based Android 10 comes preloaded on the Vivo V19. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 675 chipset is present under the hood of the smartphone. The SoC is coupled with 8GB of RAM. The handset has an internal storage of 128GB and there is a dedicated slot for adding a microSD card. The phone is equipped with a 4,500mAh battery that supports 9V/2A rapid charging. The V19 offers other features like dual SIM support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB-C, USB OTG and 3.5mm audio jack.
Vivo V19 price and availability
The Vivo V19 has gone official in Indonesia in two variants: 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. They cost IDR 4,299,000 (~Rs 22,150) and IDR 4,999,000 (~Rs 25,750), respectively. The phone is now up for pre-orders in the country. It is scheduled to go on sale from March 26th in Arctic Blue and Crystal White shades.
