Vivo V19 launch in India set for March 26th, dual punch-hole selfie cameras confirmed

Vivo India just made an official announcement regarding the launch of the V19 in India. The device will be launched on March 26th. Vivo announced the news on its Twitter handle, and also shared an image of the device, revealing a few features of the handset. The V19 headed to India is a different device compared to the one launched in Indonesia, which was essentially a rebranded V17. The official image shared by Vivo reveals a pill-shaped cutout on the display confirming a dual-camera setup. A separate image shared by the brand reveals an L-shaped quad-camera module on the rear panel. An in-display fingerprint scanner, Super Night Selfie, Super Wide Angle camera and Aura Screen Light are also confirmed. The device is also displayed in black and blue colour options.

Vivo V19 specifications and features 

According to initial reports, the Vivo V19 flaunts a 6.44-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 20:9. The Snapdragon 712 SoC powers the devie. The smartphone is expected to feature 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of native storage.

In terms of optics, the quad-camera setup comprises a 48-megapixel primary sensor, along with an 8-megapixel lens, and two 2-megapixel sensors for macro and depth photography. The device sports a 32-megapixel sensor on the front along with an 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor. The Vivo V19 is powered by a 4,500mAh battery with 33W fast charging, and runs the Android 10-based FunTouch OS 10. The Vivo V19 is expected to be priced starting at Rs 25,000 in India.
