Recently, we reported that Vivo is expected to launch the V19 series in the first week of March in India. A report by 91mobiles had claimed that the smartphone maker had discontinued the Vivo V17 Pro in the country. Now, Vivo has officially confirmed that it will launch the upcoming Vivo V19 on March 10th in Indonesia. However, going by the past reports, the smartphone is expected to arrive in India in the same month ahead of the IPL season. The Twitter account of Vivo Indonesia reveals the design of the upcoming smartphone along with camera details.

Like its predecessor, the Vivo V19 will arrive in standard and Pro variants. The former will sport 48MP quad-rear cameras and a 32MP selfie shooter. The teaser image also reveals the Vivo V19 with an edge-to-edge display featuring a punch-hole cutout at the top right corner. There is a vertically arranged camera setup in an L-shaped rectangular module on the back panel. The smartphone will be equipped with an in-display fingerprint scanner. The smartphone will arrive in two gradient colour options.
Vivo V19 specifications and features
Apart from the design and camera details, the remaining specifications of the Vivo V19 are not known yet. The smartphone is expected to arrive with upgrades compared to its predecessor. The Vivo V19 is rumoured to be powered by a Snapdragon 730G chipset coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The device could be backed by a 4,500mAh battery unit with support for the brand’s dual-engine fast charging. It is expected to run the Android 10-based FunTouch OS out of the box.
Vivo is also expected to launch the Pro variant of Vivo V19. It will arrive as a slightly upgraded version of the V19. The smartphone is expected to sport a 64MP main camera on the back and dual punch-hole selfie sensors.
We expect the Vivo V19 to be priced similarly to the V17, which retails at Rs 22,990.
