Last week, Vivo India had confirmed that it will be launching the Vivo V19 smartphone on March 26th. The tweet that that had confirmed the launch date is no longer visible and has been deleted. Hence, it appears that the arrival of the phone has been postponed. The Chinese firm is yet to confirm the new launch date for the smartphone, but a new report by 91mobiles states that it could be April 3rd. Given the current nation-wide lockdown due to the coronavirus, it is likely that other brands will also delay their launch events.
Vivo V19 specifications and features
Past reports have revealed that the Vivo V19 will be arriving with a dual punch-hole display measuring 6.44 inches. It will feature full HD+ resolution, a 20:9 aspect ratio and 403ppi pixel density. Vivo has confirmed that front cameras will consist of a 32-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel depth sensor. The display of the phone will be integrated with a fingerprint sensor.
The Snapdragon 712 octa-core will be fuelling the Vivo V19. The device will run Android 10 along with FunTouch OS 10.
The rear-mounted quad camera setup of Vivo V19 is said to include a 48-megapixel main lens, an 8-megapixel superwide sensor, a 2-megapixel macro lens and a 2-megapixel depth assist lens. The phone may house a 4,500mAh battery that will support 33W rapid charging. It will come with usual connectivity features such as dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0 and USB-C.
Vivo V19 price in India
A new leak reveals that the Vivo V19 will be arriving in India in two models – 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. The pricing of the higher model is not known, but the base model is said to have an MRP of Rs 28,990. The starting model may have a MOP of Rs 26,990.
The launch offers of the Vivo V19 have also been leaked. HDFC and ICICI card owners can avail a 10 percent cashback while IDFC First Bank users can get 5 percent cashback. Customers pre-ordering V19 through HBD Financial Services will get one EMI as cashback. Cashify will exchange bonus, Jio will offer Rs 40,000 benefits and Vivo will also provide one-time screen replacement offer.
