Vivo V19 gets a price cut of up to Rs 4,000 in India

Back in May this year, Vivo had announced its mid-range smartphone called the Vivo V19. The device debuted as the successor to last year’s Vivo V17. Now, for the first time since its launch, the brand has slashed the price of Vivo V19 by up to Rs 4,000. The price drop has been officially announced by Vivo, and is effective starting today.

The Vivo V19 has received a price cut on both its variants, and will be available at the new prices via offline partner retail stores, Vivo’s India website, Flipkart, Amazon and major e-commerce stores.

The Vivo V19 now starts at Rs 24,990 in India

The Vivo V19 8GB + 128GB variant now costs Rs 24,990 instead of Rs 27,990, while the price of the 8GB + 256GB model is down to Rs 27,990 from Rs 31,990. Vivo has also announced several offers on the device, starting July 28th and effective until August 31st.

These include a 10 percent cashback on ICICI Bank credit and debit card EMI transactions, a one time screen replacement, EMI schemes from finance partners starting at Rs 1,388 and Jio benefits worth Rs 10,000.

Vivo V19 specifications and features

The Vivo V19 offers a 6.44-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen. The display features a dual punch-hole camera cutout at the top right corner and an integrated fingerprint scanner. The back panel houses a rectangular quad-camera module. The Vivo V19 is offered in Mystic Silver and Piano Black colour options.

In the imaging department, the Vivo V19’s camera setup comprises a 48MP f/1.7 primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide shooter, 2MP bokeh and 2MP macro lens. The punch-hole cutout on the front accommodates a 32MP main and 8MP wide-angle camera. 

Internally, the Vivo V19 is equipped with a Snapdragon 712 SoC paired with 8GB RAM. The device is available in 128GB and 256GB storage options with a microSD card slot for additional expansion. There is a liquid cooling copper tube that dissipates heat and keep temperatures down.

The Vivo V19 draws its power from a 4,500mAh battery unit with 33W fast charging support. The smartphone runs the Android 10 based FunTouch OS 10. Connectivity options on the V19 include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, dual SIM, USB Type-C and 3.5mm jack.
