Vivo has been on a roll in the past few weeks with a number of mid-range smartphone launches in India and China. But there are more in the pipeline. A new handset with model number Vivo V1921A has been spotted on TENAA today with a few specifications and images. The handset has previously received CCC (3C) certification and the new approval on TENAA makes it a close-to-launch device.
Speaking first about the design, it’s a triple camera handset with no fingerprint reader in sight and the front houses a teardrop notch design. This could mean that the device could equip the in-display fingerprint sensor. This particular model is Black. The listing reveals a 6.38-inch display and a 4,420mAh battery. This is a new handset but one that looks likely to be a mid-ranger from Vivo. For now, these are the only specifications populated in the listing but we should be able to get more when the listing is fully updated.
There are a number of Y series models that have been rumoured to launch in China. This handset could be one of those devices. One handset that looks very similar to this model is the Vivo V1913A/T which is also unreleased and was spotted on TENAA last month. It also has a water-drop notch design, a triple camera setup exactly like this one and no visible fingerprint reader. The similarities continue on the spec-sheet too as TENAA revealed a 6.38-inch Full-HD+ display on the phone and a 4,390mAh battery along with Android Pie. The Vivo 1913A/T was found to feature a 16-megapixel, an 8-megapixel and a 2-megapixel camera composition on the rear. It’s quite possible that this Vivo V1921A also has the same set of cameras. However, It’s only a matter of time before TENAA lists the full details, so stay tuned.
