Vivo V20 (2021) with Snapdragon 730G launched quietly in India: price, specifications

In October this year, Vivo launched the V20 smartphone in India. It had arrived with a Snapdragon 720G processor and 64MP triple-cameras. Now, the Chinese brand has silently announced the Vivo V20 (2021) in the country and the phone has gone live on Amazon India.

Interestingly, PriceBaba has learnt that Vivo has discontinued the V20 with Snapdragon 720G SoC. The Vivo V20 (2021) gets a different processor but rest of the specifications and features are the same as the previous model.

The Vivo V20 (2021) sports an FHD+ AMOLED display measuring 6.44-inches with a waterdrop notch and 60Hz refresh rate. The latest offering retains the same design as the Snapdragon 720G variant with a rectangular camera module and in-screen fingerprint scanner. 

The Vivo V20 (2021) features a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 64MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP mono unit. The device has a 44MP front-facing snapper with Eye Autofocus feature. The smartphone is packed with a host of camera features. 

Internally, the Vivo V20 (2021) is equipped with an upgraded Snapdragon 730G chipset compared to the Snapdragon 720G on the V20. The processor is coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB native storage that is expandable via microSD card slot.

The smartphone draws its power from a 4,000mAh battery unit with support for 33W fast charging. The Vivo V20 (2021) runs on Funtouch OS 11 based on Android 11. Connectivity options on the Vivo V20 (2021) include dual 4G VoLTE, USB-C port, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS.

The Vivo V20 (2021) is priced at Rs 24,990 which is the same as the previous V20. However, there is no 8GB + 256GB RAM and storage configuration. The smartphone is offered in Midnight Jazz and Sunset Melody colours. It is already available for purchase on and HDFC Bank cardholders can avail 10 percent instant discount up to Rs 1,500.
