Last week, Vivo announced the Vivo V20 and Vivo V20 Pro smartphones in Thailand, and the Vivo V20 SE smartphone was made official in Malaysia. Today, the brand has released the first teaser of the Vivo V20 series for India through its Twitter handle. Like the previous Vivo V-series phones, the upcoming V20 models are expected to offer a premium design and advanced photography features.

The teaser only highlights the slim design of the Vivo V20 series. The company is yet to reveal the launch date of the V20 lineup in India. A report by MySmartPrice states that the company will be launching only two smartphones in the V20 lineup in India.

The publication claims that it has learned through industry sources that the Vivo V20 series will break cover on October 12th. The company is expected to begin the training of the promoters for the Vivo V20 lineup from October 3rd. The launch date is likely to be officially confirmed later this week.
Earlier this month, the same publication had shared the leaked renders and key specs of the Vivo V20 for India. The render revealed that it has a dual punch-hole display with a 44-megapixel primary selfie camera. It seems that the Vivo V20 heading to India is a different device compared to the V20 that went official in Thailand as it has a waterdrop notch display and a single 44-megapixel front-facing camera.
Vivo V20 series specifications and features
The Vivo V20 features Snapdragon 720G processor, 64-megapixel triple camera system, a 4,000mAh battery. The Vivo V20 Pro has a Snapdragon 765G chipset, a 44-megapixel + 8-megapixel dual selfie camera, 64-megapixel triple rear cameras and a 4,000mAh battery. The Snapdragon 665-powered Vivo V20 SE has a 32-megapixel selfie camera, a 48-megapixel triple camera setup, and a 4,100mAh battery. All three phones have 6.44-inch S-AMOLED full HD+ displays with an in-screen fingerprint sensors. These phones also carry support for 33W fast charging.
