Vivo has finally launched the latest V-series smartphone called the V20 in India. The handset arrives as the successor to the V19 and brings several upgrades across the board. Vivo is marketing the V20 as the slimmest smartphone of the year so far with a thickness of just 7.38mm. The smartphone also packs commendable specs like 64MP triple cameras, a 44MP selfie camera with Eye Autofocus and Snapdragon 720G processor, among others.

Vivo has priced the V20 at Rs 24,990 and at this price point, it goes up against some heavyweights from Samsung and OnePlus. The Vivo V20 will compete with OnePlus Nord and Samsung Galaxy M51, both of which start at Rs 24,999. Let’s find out which of these three smartphones are worth your money.
Vivo V20 vs OnePlus Nord vs Samsung Galaxy M51: price in India
The Vivo V20 is being offered in 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB configurations in India. These variants are priced at Rs 24,990 and Rs 27,990, respectively. Vivo is offering the smartphone in Midnight Jazz, Sunset Melody and Moonlight Sonata colours. The smartphone can be picked from Flipkart and Vivo.com. It’s also being offered at retail stores like Croma, Reliance Digital, Poorvika Mobiles, and Vijay Sales, among others. The pre-bookings of the Vivo V20 are already open and sales will start October 27th.
The Samsung Galaxy M51 also comes in two configurations but with lower RAM and storage. The 6GB + 128GB model is priced at Rs 24,999 and the 8GB + 128GB variant retails at Rs 26,999. Samsung is offering the smartphone in Celestial Black and Electric Blue colours.
Lastly, the OnePlus Nord is offered in three variants – 6GB + 64GB, 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB. The base variant has been priced at Rs Rs 24,999, whereas the 8GB model costs Rs 27,999. The top-end model is priced at Rs 29,999. OnePlus is offering the Nord in Blue Marble and Gray Onyx colour options.

The Vivo V20 is the odd one out here with its waterdrop notch display as the other two feature punch-hole designs. The V20 is equipped with a 6.44-inch AMOLED panel offering 2,400 x 1,080 pixels resolution. The screen is protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top.
The Samsung Galaxy M51 comes with the biggest display of the three measuring 6.7-inches. The phone features an AMOLED panel and offers an FHD+ screen resolution. The Samsung offering also features a layer of protective Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top.
The OnePlus Nord has the same 6.44-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ screen resolution as Vivo V20. However, it wins this round because of the 90Hz high refresh rate and the layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top.

Coming to the performance, all three smartphones are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 7XX series processors. Starting with the Vivo V20, it gets the Snapdragon 720G chipset under the hood with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. The smartphone boots the Android 11-based Funtouch OS 11 out of the box.
Next up is the Samsung Galaxy M51, which has the Snapdragon 730G ticking at its core. The processor is paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The handset ships with One UI based on Android 10 out of the box.

Coming to the cameras, the Vivo V20 comes across as the best option among the three. In the front, the V20 is equipped with a 44MP selfie camera featuring Eye Autofocus feature.
