The Vivo V21 5G has launched in India today. It is the company’s cheapest 5G smartphone in India, powered by the Dimensity 800U chipset that’s also seen on devices like the Narzo 30 Pro, OPPO F19 Pro+ 5G and more. The handset’s other key feature is its OIS-enabled 44-megapixel front camera. The front camera is coupled with dual front-firing flash.

The Vivo V21 5G has landed in India in two options such as 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. It comes in three colours such as Dusk Blue, Sunset Dazzle, and Arctic White.

The Vivo V21 5G’s pre-booking begins today, and it is set to go on sale from May 6th. It will be sold through Flipkart, Vivo India’s online store, and offline outlets.

The Vivo V21 5G features OIS support for its 44MP front and rear-facing 64MP triple cameras

Buyers of V21 5G can benefit from offers like up to 10 percent cashback from HDFC Bank, Kotak Bank, and Bajaj FinServ. The latter comes with V-Shield Complete Mobile Protection and Vivo’s upgrade plan benefits. Other offers include 1 EMI cashback by HDFC First Bank, zero down payment from Home Credit, TVS Credit, ICIC Bank, and Zest Money, up to Rs 2,000 instant cashback on a regular credit card transaction, and debit/credit EMI transactions, no-cost EMI, and up to Rs 3,000 off on exchange.

The Vivo V21 5G has a 6.44-inch E3 AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, up to 800nits brightness, HDR10+ and a 90Hz refresh rate. The display notch houses a 44-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture and OIS support. It offers features like eye autofocus, AI night portrait, 4K video, dual-view video and more. It features a dual LED flash for capturing brighter selfies in low-light conditions.

The triple camera unit of the V21 5G has a 64-megapixel primary camera with f/1.79 aperture and OIS. It is coupled with a 120-degree ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel macro camera with a 4cm focal length. The rear cameras offer features like eye autofocus, tripod and ultrawide night mode, 4K video, and more.

The Dimensity 800U chipset fuels the Vivo V21 5G with 8GB of RAM. The 3GB of extended RAM functionality allows available storage space on the phone to work as virtual memory. This allows the phone to run more apps at faster speeds. The V21 5G comes in 128GB and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage choices. For additional storage, it has a dedicated microSD card slot.

The 4,400mAh battery of the Vivo V21 5G supports 33W FlashCharge technology. It ships with FunTouch OS 11.1 based on Android 11. The V21 5G is packed with other features like a matte glass design, dual-SIM with 5G support, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, USB Type-C, and an in-screen fingerprint reader. It lacks support for a 3.5mm audio jack.
