Vivo has launched a new smartphone in Taiwan, the Vivo V21s 5G. The latest addition to the Chinese smartphone giant’s V-series is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset. It has a 44MP selfie camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and a dual LED flash. Other key features include triple rear cameras, a flat-edge design, and a 90Hz AMOLED display.
The Vivo V21s 5G has been launched in Taiwan in a single variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. It is available in two colour options – Colourful and Dark Blue – and is priced at NTD 11,490 (Roughly Rs 30,000). There is no word on global availability yet. The Vivo V21s 5G is similar to last year’s V21 5G, which was launched in India at Rs 29,990.

Vivo V21s 5G specifications, features
The Vivo V21s 5G features a 6.44-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a 4,000mAh battery, and 33W FlashCharge fast charging. The company claims the smartphone can charge from 0 to 63 per cent in around 30 minutes. It is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor paired with a Mali-G57 GPU, 8GB RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage.
One of the key features of the Vivo V21s 5G is the triple rear camera setup. It consists of a 64MP primary shooter with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 2MP macro camera. There is a 44MP selfie camera housed in a waterdrop notch with OIS and a dual LED flash. The V21s 5G runs Vivo’s custom Android skin FunTouch OS 12, which is based on last year’s Android 12. Connectivity options include dual SIM with 5G support, Bluetooth v5.1, dual-band Wi-Fi, NFC, and a Type-C port for charging and data transfer.
