Vivo V25 India launch imminent as it appears on BIS website; to feature Dimensity 900 SoC

Vivo V25 5G has been certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). The handset has also appeared in the database of the Geekbench benchmarking site. These developments indicate that it will not take too long for the V25 to go official in India.

The V25 will arrive as the successor for the Vivo V23 5G, which debuted at the beginning of this year. Apart from the V25, the series is expected to include two more devices for India, which include Vivo V25e and the Vivo V25 Pro. The V25 is expected to launch in August, whereas the Pro model is likely to debut in September. There is no word on the launch timeframe of the V25e.

Past reports have revealed that V2202 is the model number of the Vivo V25 5G. The same device has now emerged in the BIS certification database. While the listing does not reveal any information on its specifications, it is a good hint that it will be launched soon in India.

According to a recent report by MySmartPrice, the V25 has appeared with specifications such as a Dimensity 900 chipset, and 8GB of RAM on Geekbench. The Geekbench appearance suggests that the company could be internally testing the device before its official release.  Rumours surrounding the Vivo V25 5G have claimed that it will debut on August 17th or August 18th, 2022.

Apart from India, the Vivo V25 5G is expected to be released in other countries since it has been approved by other certification sites, such as the FCC and Indonesia’s TKDN. In the global market, it is rumoured to arrive in two configurations: 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. It will be available in colours such as Dimond Black and Sunrise Gold. At present, there is no information on the other specs of the V25 5G.
