Vivo V27 series India launch timeframe tipped, here’s what to expect

Vivo V27 series’ India launch timeframe has been revealed by tipster Debayan Roy. To recall, a report that surfaced in November claimed that the company is working on three V27 series smartphones, such as the Vivo V27e, Vivo V27, and Vivo V27 Pro. These devices will replace the existing V25e, V25, and V25 Pro. The report also revealed that the V27 would come equipped with MediaTek’s Dimensity chipsets.

The new leak claims that all three Vivo V27 phones will launch in February. However, the previous leak claimed that the V27 and Vivo V27 Pro would debut first in February, whereas the V27e would arrive later.

According to Roy, the Vivo V27 series launch will happen around the middle or end of February in India. He added that the V27 lineup would be similar to the Vivo S16 series with a few changes. Here is a look at the specifications of the Vivo S16e, S16, and S16 Pro.

The Vivo S16e has a 6.62-inch AMOLED display, whereas the S16 and S16 Pro have a bigger 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with curved edges. All three phones support a Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an under-display fingerprint scanner. The S16 series runs on Android 13 OS with the OriginOS UI on top.

The S16e, S16, and S16 Pro are powered by the Exynos 1080, Snapdragon 870, and Dimensity 8200 chipsets, respectively. The lineup is equipped with up to 12GB of RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, and a 4,600mAh battery that supports 66W fast charging.

The S16e has a 16-megapixel front camera, and it has a 50-megapixel (main) + 2-megapixel (depth) + 2-megapixel (macro) triple camera unit on the back. The S16 and S16 Pro have a 50-megapixel front-facing camera with autofocus support. The S16 has a 64-megapixel (main, with OIS) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 2-megapixel (macro) triple camera unit, whereas the S16 Pro will offer a 50-megapixel (Sony IMX766, with OIS) + 12-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 2-megapixel (macro) triple camera system.
