Vivo V29, Vivo Y27 series spotted at TDRA certification, launch imminent

Vivo V29, Vivo Y27 (4G), and Vivo Y27 5G have recently obtained TDRA certification in the UAE, suggesting that these smartphones will be available on the market soon. In fact, the Vivo Y27 5G is currently listed on Vivo’s global website, but its pricing and availability have yet to be confirmed.

The Vivo V29 series comprises various models, including the Vivo V29, V29 Pro, and V29 Lite. Although the Lite variant has already been released, the V29 and V29 Pro are anticipated to be unveiled this month in various markets. Let’s take a closer look at the specifications of the V29, Y27, and Y27 5G that have emerged in recent reports.

As can be seen in the screenshot above, the Vivo V29, Vivo Y27 (4G) and Vivo Y27 5G with respective model numbers V2250, V2249, and V2302 have been approved by the TDRA authority. While the certification itself doesn’t provide specific details about their major specifications; it does suggest that the launch of these devices is imminent.

Vivo V29 specifications (rumoured)

Reports have revealed that the Vivo V29 will be a 5G phone that will come equipped with the Snapdragon 778G chipset, 8GB of RAM, and Android 13 with the FunTouch OS 13 UI on top. It will have a curved-edge AMOLED display on the front and pack a 4,505mAh battery with 80W charging support. For photography, it may feature an OIS-enabled 64-megapixel primary camera on the back.

Vivo Y27 specifications (rumoured)

The Vivo Y27 is expected to arrive with a 6.5-inch LCD HD+ display, a chipset based on the Helio G85 chip, up to 6GB of RAM, and up to 128GB of storage. It will house a 5,000mAh battery and run on FunTouch OS 13-based Android 13.

Vivo Y27 5G specifications

The Vivo Y27 5G features a 6.64-inch LCD panel that offers an FHD+ resolution, an 8-megapixel front camera, and 50-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual rear cameras. The Dimensity 6020 powers the device along with up to 6GB of RAM, and a 5,000mAh battery that supports 15W charging. It offers 128GB of storage and runs on Android 13 with a layer of FunTouch OS 13.
