Chinese multinational technology company Vivo is readying the launch of the Vivo V5 in India. The company has an event scheduled in Mumbai for November 15th where it will introduce the successor of the Vivo V3. This upcoming Vivo device seems to be a selfie-centric phone with a humongous 20-megapixel front-facing camera. Currently, there is no smartphone in the market having such a massive selfie camera to offer. It looks like the Vivo V5 will take on the likes of Oppo which currently tops at 16-megapixel selfie camera. Yes, we are talking about the Oppo F1 Plus.
If rumors are to believe, the Vivo V5 houses a 13-megapixel rear snapper with LED Flash and PDAF (Phase Detection Autofocus). It sports a 5.2-inch Full HD display covered by 2.5D glass and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top. What powers this phone is an octa-core (eight cores) Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor which peaks at 1.8GHz clock speed. The device also has 4GB of RAM for multitasking. Furthermore, it is said to offer 32GB of internal to storage, expandable up to 128GB through microSD card.
We are expecting the Vivo V5 to be priced somewhere around Rs 22,000. Earlier, Vivo introduced the V3 Max which may also see its successor in the form of Vivo V5 Max. However, at this point, there is no information available on the latter device. Stay tuned to Pricebaba for further updates on Vivo phones.
