Vivo V5 Plus With Dual Selfie Camera Goes On Sale For Rs 27,980

Vivo introduced Vivo V5 Plus in India last month. It comes as an upgrade to the company’s earlier selfie-focused smartphone Vivo V5, which is currently retailing in India at around Rs 16,500. The Vivo V5 Plus is now available to purchase from offline and online retailers across India.

The biggest attraction, Vivo V5 Plus comes with a humongous 20MP camera up front alongside an 8MP secondary camera for capturing selfies. Below that, 1920 x 1080 pixels stretched across a 5.5-inch display result in 401 PPI pixel density. The display further comes protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection with 2.5D curved glass on top.

Powering Vivo V5 Plus is a 2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 eight-core processor combined with 4GB RAM and Adreno 506 GPU. The 64GB of built-in storage supports further memory expansion up to 256GB via a hybrid SIM slot. Furthermore, the smartphone comes with two SIM slots and Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based Funtouch OS 3.0.

In terms of camera, Vivo V5 Plus houses a 16MP rear snapper with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, and Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF). The front camera, on the other side, comes alongside Moonlight flash, Sony IMX376 sensor, and f/2.0 aperture. There is also a front-mounted fingerprint scanner that doubles up as the home button.

Vivo V5 Plus packs in a 3,055mAh battery with fast charging support. That aside, the device is based on 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and microUSB 2.0 port. Available in gold colour option, Vivo V5 is priced at 27,980.
