Vivo Watch 2 has been launched in China today. It has debuted alongside the Vivo S12 smartphone series. The latest offering is the successor to the original model that was announced last year.
The Vivo Watch 2 arrives with significant upgrades compared to its predecessor. It comes with an independent eSIM support, SOS feature, and a high refresh rate display. Read on to know what the wearable device has in store for us.

The Vivo Watch 2 comes in a 46mm circular dial with two physical buttons on the right side and swappable silicone straps. The smartwatch features an OLED display measuring 1.43-inches and offers a 60Hz refresh rate. The device is equipped with a stainless steel body and it is water-resistant up to 5 ATM.
The Vivo Watch 2 is equipped with a heart-rate monitor and SpO2 sensor. It is also capable of tracking sleep patterns and stress levels. The smartwatch comes with a pressure and body energy monitor as well as a hydration reminder. The wearable device packs a host of professional sports modes along with a built-in GPS for outdoor activities. It features an SOS emergency mode that sends out alerts to the user’s emergency contacts even if their phone is not around.
The Vivo Watch 2 comes with an eSIM support that allows users receive and send SMS and calls without being connected to their smartphone via Bluetooth. On the convenience front, the Vivo Watch 2 comes with features like a smart calendar, smart travel service, Jovi voice assistant, and smart home control. The Vivo Watch 2 is said to offer up to 14 days of battery life.
Vivo Watch 2 pricing and availability
The Vivo Watch 2 is priced at RMB 1,299 (~Rs 15,400) and will go on sale from December 29th in China. It is offered in Silver Wing, Breaking Dawn and Force Black colours. The smartwatch’s global availability remains unknown at the moment.
