Vivo Wireless Sport Lite neckband has been launched in India. Last year, the company entered the audio segment with the announcement of Vivo TWS Neo earbuds. It carried an affordable price tag of Rs 5,990. Vivo’s first Bluetooth neckband for India named Wireless Sport Lite has now arrived with a reasonable price tag.
The Wireless Sport Lite neckband is a lightweight product that weighs around 24 grams. Apart from featuring a large-sized audio driver, the ergonomically designed neckband comes with a bio-fibre composite diaphragm that enhances the audio output. It is equipped with a Daikoku aluminium-coated bronze coil for reproducing high frequencies. Once charged, it can last for up to 18 hours.
Vivo Wireless Sport Lite specifications and features
The Vivo Wireless Sport Lite comes with a custom-made 11.2mm audio driver unit, high polymer diaphragm, and aluminium-coat bronze coil that allows it to produce powerful bass and crisp high frequencies. It supports the AAC codec but lacks support for SBC or AptX.
Vivo’s neckband is packed with a 129mAh battery that promises up to 18 hours of music playtime once it is fully charged. The company claims that charging it only for 10 minutes will allow users to enjoy 5 hours of listening time. It can be charged through its USB Type-C port. It takes around 1 hour to fully charge the device and it offers a standby time of around 300 hours.
The Wireless Sport Lite supports Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, which allows it to instantly connect with a paired device. The company claims that it has been optimised to work seamlessly with Vivo smartphones. Holding the neckband close to a Vivo phone will instantly show a pop-up window for establishing a connection.
There is a “call Noise Cancellation” feature onboard that allow users to listen to the recipient’s voice without any interruption. For gamers, Vivo’s neckband offers as low as 80ms latency.
The magnetic earbuds of the Vivo Wireless Sport Lite can be snapped onto each other to put them on standby. Separating them will resume the Bluetooth connection. Users can simply press the volume up and down buttons simultaneously to disconnect its connection with the current device and pair it with another device. Since it is an IPX4 waterproof rated device, it remains protected from water splashes, sweat, and rains.
