Vivo X Flip Geekbench listing spotted, key specifications revealed before April launch

Vivo X Flip’s Geekbench listing has been spotted. The device has appeared with model number V2256A on the benchmarking platform. As usual, the listing has revealed key information on the chipset, RAM, and Android version of the device.

According to reports, the Vivo X Flip will debut in April in China. The same month will see the arrival of the Vivo X Fold 2 foldable smartphone and the Vivo Pad 2 tablet. While the X Fold 2 will be the company’s third horizontally foldable device, the X Flip will be its first vertically foldable smartphone. Here is a look at the details that have surfaced through the Geekbench appearance of the X Flip.

As can be seen in the screenshot, as many as six Geekbench listings for the Vivo X Flip have appeared on Geekbench 6. In the single-core test, the handset scored between 1678 and 1695, and it recorded a score of 4231 to 4338 in the multi-core test.

The Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset and 12GB of RAM are both listed as the device’s power sources in all listings. The device is found to be running on Android 13 OS.

According to reports, the Vivo X Flip will be equipped with a 6.8-inch foldable OLED panel, which will offer an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The clamshell phone will come preloaded with the OriginOS 3-based Android 13 OS. For security, it will have a side-facing fingerprint scanner.

On the front, the Vivo X Flip is expected to feature a 32-megapixel selfie camera. The rear side of the device will have a round-shaped camera module, which will house a 50-megapixel Sony IMX866 primary camera and a 12-megapixel Sony IMX663 ultra-wide snapper. The back panel will also feature a square-shaped cover display.

The Vivo X Flip will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset. The highest variant of the device is likely to offer 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. It will have a 4,400mAh battery with 44W fast charging support.

At present, it is unclear whether the Vivo X Flip, Vivo X Fold 2, and Vivo Pad 2 will be released in India.
