Vivo NEX 5 will reportedly debut as Vivo X Note. The news comes from Chinese tipster WHY LAB who also revealed key specifications of the device. The upcoming offering will arrive as the successor to the NEX 3 that launched way back in 2019. However, the brand will ditch the ‘NEX’ moniker.

The Vivo X Note has also been spotted on China 3C’s certification site with model number V2170A. It has also bagged TENNA certification. The smartphone’s renders were also leaked earlier this month.

As per the 3C listing, the Vivo X Note is said to support 80W fast charging. It is tipped to be backed by a 5,000mAh battery unit. Internally, the smartphone will reportedly be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor paired with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB onboard storage.
The tipster shares that the Vivo X Note will sport a Zeiss-branded quad rear camera setup comprising a 50MP main sensor, 48MP Sony IMX598 lens, 12MP Sony IMX663 unit and an 8MP shooter with 5x zoom. There is no information on the front camera.
The Vivo X Note is tipped to feature a large 7-inch sAMOLED E5 display with curved edges and a centrally placed punch-hole cutout. It will offer QHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. As per renders, the smartphone has a circular camera module on the back panel. It will likely come with an in-screen fingerprint scanner.
The Vivo X Note is expected to debut early next month. We will know more details in the coming weeks.
