Vivo has unveiled two new devices in its home country named as Vivo X27 and X27 Pro. Ahead of the launch, the company had shared two posters of the X27 revealing some key specifications. Let’s take a look at both the devices below:
Vivo X27 Pro & X27:
The Vivo X27 Pro is the higher variant among the two devices and comes with a few different specs. The device boasts of a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen bearing an FHD+ display. It also comes with a new design where the triple rear camera is placed in the centre instead of the left. The flash is also located on the top and the camera sensors are below it. On the front, the X27 Pro features a wider selfie camera module which pops up from the center
The Vivo X27 closely resembles the Vivo V15 launched in India recently. The device sports a 6.39-inch AMOLED display. The triple rear vertical camera is situated on the left along with the selfie camera that pops up from the same module.
On both the devices, the rear camera setup comprises of a 48MP main + 13MP wide-angle lens. The primary lens makes use of a Sony IMX586 sensor. The third sensor on the Pro variant is a 2MP night vision sensor, while on X27 it is a 5MP depth sensor. Up front, the Pro variant houses a 32MP front shooter assisted by an LED flash that aids in taking better selfies at night. On the other hand, the X27 features a 16MP pop-up selfie snapper. The devices feature Night Mode for capturing better pictures in low light conditions.
Under the hood, both the Pro and Standard variant of the Vivo X27 are powered by a Snapdragon 710 chipset. They pack 8GB RAM and offer 256GB internal memory. The X27 also comes with a Snapdragon 675 SoC coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage. The Snapdragon 710 variant features an in-display fingerprint scanner while the other sports a conventional rear-mounted one.
All the three variants are backed by a 4,000mAh battery unit with support for 22.5W charging. The devices run Funtouch OS 5.0 based on Android 9 Pie.
Pricing & Availability:
Vivo has set the price of X27 Pro at 3,998 Yuan (~Rs 41,500). The Snapdragon 710 and 675 variants of the X27 are priced at 3,598 Yuan (~Rs 37,200) and 3,198 Yuan (~Rs 33,200) respectively. The Vivo X27 Pro is available in Black and Rose Gold colours while the Standard X27 can be availed in three colour options i.e. Emerald Green, Blue, and Pink Gold.
Both the smartphones are up for pre-orders and will go on sale starting from March 23rd in China.
