Vivo X60 price in India slashed by Rs 3,000 ahead of rumoured Vivo X70 launch

Vivo X60 price in India has been slashed by Rs 3,000. As seen in a poster shared by tipster Abhishek Yadav, the company has decreased the pricing of both variants of the Vivo X60. Rumours have it that the company will be launching the Vivo X70 series by mid-September. It could be planning to sell out the existing stock of the X60 before the arrival of the X70.

Vivo announced the Vivo X60, X60 Pro (review), and Vivo X60 Pro+ back in March this year. At present, the company has only dropped the pricing of the vanilla model. It remains to be seen whether it will also announce a price cut for X60 Pro and X60 Pro+ in the coming weeks.

With a price cut of Rs 3,000, the X60 variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage is now available for Rs 34,990, whereas the higher 12GB RAM + 256GB storage now costs Rs 37,990. Both models were priced at Rs 37,990 and Rs 41,990 respectively at launch.

The Vivo X60 5G variants are now available with revised pricing on Vivo India’s online store, Amazon India and Flipkart. The handset can be purchased in Midnight Black and Shimmer Blue colours.

Vivo X60 5G specifications and features

The Vivo X60 5G has a 6.56-inch AMOLED Full HD+ display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate. The Snapdragon 870 chipset powers the device with LPPDDR4x RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. It is backed by a 4,300mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.

It has a 32MP front camera. The rear camera setup of the device has a 48-megapixel primary camera with OIS support, a 13-megapixel telephoto snapper with 2x optical zoom, and a 13-megapixel ultra=wide lens. It offers other features like Gorilla Glass 6 protection, an in-screen fingerprint scanner, and FunTouch OS 11.1 based on Android 11.

Vivo X70, X70 Pro likely to launch in September

Rumours suggest that the Vivo X70 and X70 Pro will launch in India by mid-September. Both models may feature the same 6.56-inch AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz display, Dimensity 1200 SoC, 44W fast charging, 12GB of RAM, and 50-megapixel (Sony IMX766) primary camera. Both phones may come with identical specs. The vanilla model may come with traditional OIS, whereas the Pro model may feature micro-gimbal stabilisation.
