Earlier this month, Vivo India Head of Marketing Strategy took revealed in an interview with Gadgets360 that the Vivo X60 series of smartphones will be launching in India this month. Today, the company released the first teaser of the Vivo X60 series through its Twitter handle.
Vivo had originally announced the Vivo X60 series in China in December. The lineup included the Exynos 1080 chipset powered Vivo X60 and Vivo X60 Pro handsets, and the Vivo X60 Pro+ flagship model with Snapdragon 888 chipset. The Vivo X60 and X60 Pro variants heading to India and other markets are expected to feature the Snapdragon 870 SoC.

Like the Vivo X50 series, the upcoming Vivo X60 series will focus on photography. As the tweet reveals, Vivo has partnered with ZEISS to deliver an optimised photography experience on the Vivo X60 series.
Vivo’s Malaysian wing recently confirmed that it will be launching the Vivo X60 series on March 22nd. The launch date for the Indian market is expected to get confirmed in the next few days.
Recently, tipster Mukul Sharma revealed that the Vivo X60 Pro+ flagship model will also debut alongside the Vivo X60 and X60 Pro models. He claimed that the Vivo X60 Pro+ model will feature the Snapdragon 888 chip, whereas the other two models will come with the Snapdragon 870.
Vivo X60, X60, and X60 Pro+ specifications and features
The Vivo X60, X60, and X60 Pro+ are equipped with 6.56-inch FHD+ AMOLED displays with 120Hz refresh rates. The X60 has a flat screen, whereas the displays of the other two models have curved edges. A 4,200mAh battery powers the Vivo X60, while the other models feature a 4,200mAh battery. The X60 trio are equipped with 33W fast charging. All three phones have a 32-megapixel front camera.
The Vivo X60 has a 48-megapixel + 13-megapixel + 13-megapixel triple camera system, whereas the X60 Pro has a 48-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 13-megapixel + 13-megapixel quad-camera system. The Pro+ edition has a 50-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 32-megapixel + 48-megapixel quad-camera setup. The Vivo X60 trio feature second-generation micro gimbal stabilisation.
