Vivo X70 series’ India launch has been confirmed. The company has revealed that it will be coming soon to India. Reports have claimed that the X70 lineup may launch on September 30th in the country.

Vivo announced the Vivo X70, X70 Pro, and X70 Pro+ earlier this month in China. A recent report by Money Control claimed that India will receive only two models namely, the Vivo X70 Pro and X70 Pro+. The Pro model that debuted in China is powered by the Exynos 1080. The variant heading to India and other markets is likely to feature a Dimensity chip. On the other hand, the X70 Pro+ could be India’s first phone with the Snapdragon 888+ chipset.

The Vivo X70 Pro and Vivo X70 Pro+ smartphones have been showcased on the landing page available on Vivo India’s website. Like the X60 series, the X70 lineup will be offering an advanced photography experience. The official listing showcases the Vivo X70 and X70 Pro+ with a quad-camera setup featuring ZEISS optics and micro-gimbal stabilisation.

The Vivo X70 Pro has a 6.56-inch AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz panel, whereas the X70 Pro+ features a 6.78-inch AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz display. Both displays are integrated with an in-screen fingerprint scanner. Both models have a 32-megapixel selfie camera.
The Vivo X70 Pro has a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 12-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom, and an 8-megapixel periscope zoom lens with OIS. On the other hand, the Vivo X70 Pro Plus has a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide camera with gimbal OIS, a 12-megapixel telephoto lens with OIS, and an OIS-assisted 8-megapixel periscope zoom lens with 5x optical zoom
The X70 Pro and X70 Pro+ are equipped with up 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The X70 Pro may feature a Dimensity 1200 chip and a 4,450mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging. On the other side, the X70 Pro+ may come with a 4,500mAh battery with 55W fast charging and 50W wireless charging. It may also offer IP68 rated dust/water resistance.

A recent leak by MySmartPrice had claimed that the Vivo X70 Pro could be priced at Rs 49,990, whereas the X70 Pro+ may cost Rs 69,990. The Pro+ teasers show it will come in a leather black colour. It is unclear whether it will be available in orange and blue variants that are available in China. The X70 Pro is expected to arrive in gradient white and black colours.
