Vivo X80 series will be launching in India on May 18th, 2022. The Vivo X80 lineup for India may include two devices, such as the X80 and X80 Pro. These devices are likely to come equipped with the Dimensity 9000 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipsets, respectively
Last month, Vivo unveiled the X80 lineup in China. Earlier this week, it made its global debut in Malaysia. Now, the brand is gearing up to launch it in India. Ahead of the launch, Pricebaba brings vital information on the pricing, configuration, and colour variants of the Vivo X80.
Vivo X80 India price, configurations, and colour options
We have learnt through industry sources that the Vivo X80 will come in a sole variant that offers 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It will arrive in two colours such as Cosmic Black and Urban Blue. The X80 will carry a retail box price of Rs 56,990, which means the smartphone could be priced lower when it goes official. The leaked pricing suggests that it may rival flagship phones from other brands like Realme, Xiaomi, and OnePlus.
The Dimensity 9000 powered X80 promises a flagship-level performance. This indicates that it could be a competent rival to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 powered flagships like Realme GT 2 Pro, Xiaomi 12 Pro, and OnePlus 10 Pro available in the Indian market. The X80 is expected to arrive as India’s first phone with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX866 main camera, a telephoto camera, and an ultrawide lens. Hence, the X80 is also expected to offer a better photography experience than its competitors.
Vivo X80 specifications (expected)
The Vivo X80 will arrive with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display that offers a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Dimensity 9000 powered device may come with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. It will pack a 4,500mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging.
For selfies, it will be equipped with a 32-megapixel front-facing camera. Its rear camera will include a 50-megapixel Sony IMX866 primary camera with OIS support, a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens. It will run on the Android 12 OS, which will be overlaid with the latest version of the FunTouch OS UI. For security, it will feature an in-screen fingerprint sensor.
