Vivo X80 Lite 5G and Vivo X80 Pro+ 5G could be the next X-series phones from Vivo. The company unveiled the X80 and X80 Pro in April in China. Last month, both smartphones were made available in India. It is now working on releasing the X80 and X80 Pro in wider markets. New information suggests that the company could also be planning to launch new X-series smartphones such as X80 Lite 5G and X80 Pro+ 5G in the coming months.

The X80 Lite moniker suggests that it will be positioned lower than the X80, which features the Dimensity 9000 chipset. It was previously reported that Vivo has no plans to launch the Vivo X80 Pro+ 5G. However, a new report claims that the said device will feature the latest Snapdragon 8-series chipset and debut in October this year.

According to Root My Galaxy, the Vivo X80 Lite 5G with model number V2208 has appeared in a firmware code. The publication claims that the handset is being developed for the global market, which indicates that it may not take too long for it to go official. At present, there is no information available on the specs of the X80 Lite. The report states that it may feature the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip or a Dimensity series chip. The device may arrive with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of native storage.

Vivo X80 Pro+ 5G specifications (rumoured)

A report by My Smart Price states that the Vivo X80 Pro+ 5G will arrive with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset in October. The other details of the smartphone are still under wraps. However, the publication speculates that its quad-camera setup may include a 50-megapixel Samsung GN1 main camera, a 48-megapixel Sony IMX598 ultra-wide lens, a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 lens, and a 50-megapixel Samsung JN2 lens.

For selfies, it may feature a 32-megapixel front camera. It could be equipped with a 6.8-inch AMOLED 2K display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate. It may have support for 120W fast charging.
