The purported Vivo X80 Pro+ has appeared on Geekbench. The Geekbench appearance indicates that the company could be internally testing its performance before its official announcement. Recent reports have claimed that the Vivo X80 series will launch later this month in China and India.

Vivo X80 lineup reportedly includes three models: Vivo X80, Vivo X80 Pro, and Vivo X80 Pro+. Like the previous X-series of smartphones, the X80 lineup is expected to offer a top-notch photography experience. To recall, the X70 Pro+ was powered by the Snapdragon 888+ 5G flagship chip. The Geekbench listing of the alleged X80 Pro+ reveals that it will feature the latest Snapdragon 8-series chipset.

A new Vivo handset with a V2145 model number has surfaced in the database of the Geekbench benchmarking site. Previous reports have revealed that the V2145 model number belongs to the upcoming Vivo X80 Pro Plus smartphone.

The X80 Pro+ has appeared with a taro codenamed Qualcomm chipset on the Geekbench benchmarking site. The chipset includes one prime CPU core that runs at 3.00GHz, three CPU cores that run at 2.50GHz, and four CPU cores that run at 1.79GHz. The codename and CPU information confirm that it is fuelled by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 mobile platform. The Geekbench listing further reveals that the X80 Pro+ is equipped with 12 GB of RAM and Android 12 OS. The device scored 1209 and 3330 points in the single-core and multi-core tests of Geekbench, respectively.

Vivo X80 Pro+ specifications

Past reports have revealed the Vivo X80 Pro Plus will feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED E5 panel with LTPO 2.0 technology. It will offer a Quad HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device will feature a 50-megapixel front camera, and its rear camera setup will feature a 50-megapixel Samsung GN5 primary camera, a 48-megapixel Sony IMX598 ultrawide lens, a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 lens, and a 50-megapixel Samsung JN2 camera.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 powered X80 Pro+ will come with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a 4,700mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging. It is likely to carry support for 50W wireless charging. The flagship phone may offer up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It may run on the Android 12 OS with the OriginOS UI on top.
