The Vivo X70 series, which debuted last year, included three models: the X70, X70 Pro, and X70 Pro+ (review). So far, the company hasn’t launched a successor for the X70 Pro+. A report by GSMArena reveals that the X80 Pro+ may break cover as early as September this year.
Vivo X80 Pro launch timeline (rumoured)
The publication has shared the above poster, which reveals that a new X-series Vivo phone will debut in September. Since the company has already launched the X80 and X80 Pro, it will likely announce the X80 Pro+ in the next month. Unfortunately, the report has no information on the specs of the device.
A report that appeared in June revealed key details about the X80 Pro+. The device’s rear camera setup is expected to feature a 50-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel Sony IMX598 ultra-wide camera, a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 and a 50-megapixel JN2 camera.
The X80 Pro has the same main and ultra-wide cameras. These cameras are equipped with a 12-megapixel camera with 2x optical zoom and an 8-megapixel periscope camera with 5x optical zoom.
The device may feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED LTPO panel that will offer Quad HD+ resolution, up to 120Hz refresh rate and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner. It may support 120W rapid charging. The other details of the X80 Pro+ are under wraps.
