- It is expected to debut in January or February
- The lineup may include Vivo X80 Pro and X80 Pro+ phones
The Vivo X80 series India launch timeline has been tipped in a new report by 91mobiles. The publication has also speculated on the X80 models that are expected to arrive in the country.
Vivo is known for announcing its X-series of smartphones first in China before making it available in India. Hence, it is likely that the X80 models may debut first in China before arriving in India. At present, there is no official word on the models of the X80 lineup. Since the predecessor series includes Vivo X70, X70 Pro, and X70 Pro+ smartphones, it is likely that these models will be succeeded by the Vivo X80, X80 Pro, and X80 Pro+.
Vivo X80 Pro, X80 Pro+ release timeline for India (rumoured)
The publication has learned through industry sources that the Vivo X80 series will certainly launch by late January or early February. Its source has further revealed that India will be receiving two X80 models, but it might not be receiving the vanilla Vivo X80. To recollect, Vivo did not launch the X70 phone in India. Instead, it unveiled the X70 Pro and X70 Pro+ back in September.
Hence, it appears that India may only receive the Vivo X80 Pro and Vivo X80 Pro+ smartphones. Vivo has been offering flagship chip on its Pro+ models, which suggests that the X80 Pro+ could be featuring a flagship SoC. Unfortunately, the rumour mill is yet to spill information on the specs of the X80 Pro and X80 Pro+.
